I agree, it is always best to treat stretch marks as soon as they appear. I have some that formed on my thighs and lower buttocks. When it was happening, I did not know they would be lasting, so I did nothing. Now the stretch marks have transformed to whitish streaks. I wish I could get rid of them, but the creams I have tried do not seem to work. Actually, I probably have not been consistent enough in applying them. One day I think I will try a laser treatment; maybe that will be effective. [br] [br]Has anyone tried lasers for stretch marks?

Some people do not know that certain changes they are seeing in their skin are actually the formation of stretch marks. When I was younger, I had no idea that the odd marks on my chest were stretch marks in the making. Therefore, I did nothing to stop them. [br] [br]Stretch marks usually begin as pink or brown streaks, depending on skin color. Eventually, they often turn to a silver-like color. It is extremely important to address stretch marks with some of the products already mentioned, like shea butter or coconut oil, as soon as they are identified. The more time that goes by, the more difficult they become to eradicate.
