CoffeeThoughts: I have a Konjac sponge! Overall, I love it. It simplifies my day, you only need to wash with water, it exfoliates your skin, and overall I have less acne than I've ever had before. My main complaint is that you definitely can't miss a day. I'm not sure what it is, but if I used to go a day or two without washing my face, well, I was a bad person, but it didn't make me break out. Now I'm lazy one day and don't feel like washing my face and two days later I break out in acne. No idea why it is, but it's consistent. It definitely seems to require a more rigorous schedule than acne face wash, but I also think acne face wash is much harsher on your skin.

I usually read reviews on various products for many different things, but I'm never convinced until I experience whatever it may be. Personally, about a month ago I read a review on the Triple Action Vitamin C Serum by VoilaVe, which sounded really promising, and being a sufferer of acne, was interested by it, but not completely convinced. I had nothing to lose, so thought I'd give it a go, mainly to see whether or not it was as good as the reviews were making it out to be. I can honestly say I have never been more stunned by the results of anything I have purchased in the past compared to what I am with this product. Within about 3 weeks, my face had cleared up and I have been specifically told by friends and family that I am looking better. Could not be happier! I got mine from Amazon.

I do not have personal experience with the konjac sponge, but I have read a bit about it. Here is what I know.

Konjac is a vegetable found in Southeast Asia. The konjac sponge is well-regarded and contains anti-bacterial properties. It is said to minimize pores, refresh lifeless skin, and improve mild to moderate acne. Some people even use it for rosacea with good results.

Still, because the sponge is mild, I doubt it can help severe acne or significant scarring in a considerable way. However, sometimes even minor strides are welcome. I hope this helps.

Does anyone here have experience with Konjac sponges? A friend of mine recommended them to me, and they even say they fight acne, but I wouldn't mind having another few opinions: http://www.amazon.com/Natural-Konjac-Bamboo-Charcoal-Sponge/dp/B00B1M0XCG/ref=sr_1_1?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1382383370&sr=1-1&keywords=konjac+sponge

Mark, your Obagi post piqued my interest, so I researched the company's acne system a little more closely. It seems they market the three-product regimen moreso to adults rather than teens.

My initial impression? Many users love it! I even went on Amazon and read mostly positive stories.

The not-so-good part? Parabens are included in the ingredients. I guess if you use the products for only a short period of time, the risks will be minimal. However, if you plan to make these cleansers/creams an ongoing part of your daily routine, you may wish to seek out a more natural line.

Anyway, I hope this helps.

I also read about the benefits of 100% Tea Tree Oil. It is believed that this oil has natural antibacterial properties.

When using for acne purposes, it is important to first cleanse the face, Afterwards, apply a drop or two onto a cotton swab and dab the problems areas. I believe you must leave the oil on for at least a few hours. Only a small amount is supposed to disinfect pores and dry out pimples. Even so, do not ingest the oil, I read it might be harmful if taken internally.

Perhaps this works well for mild to moderate acne? However, I am not sure how severe acne would fare with this treatment.

Has anyone ever tried Tea Tree Oil for acne?

I recently read that Tea Tree Oil is an effective treatment for acne in certain individuals. Because it is an oil, some people with pimples are hesitent to use it because their skin is already too oily. Still, ones that have used it despite its oil nature appear to have impressive results. They dip a cotton swab in the oil and apply it to the blemishes at night. After doing this for a few days or so, inflammation is reduced and the blemishes seem to dry out.

Perhaps this will not work for everyone? Yet, it is all natural; therefore, I would definitely give it a try.

Though acne normally effects teenagers but it is big problem for every age group, people apply many things to cure it like lemon extracts are effective in removing dark spots and acne marks but for a permanent treatment one should go for microdermabrasion procedure, its very safe and effective. It can also treats another teenage problems like sun-damage, blackheads etc.[br][br][br]Laser machine for skin care
