I read a great article the other day that talked about natural therapies for scars. The three that particularly struck me are as follows:
1--Tea tree oil. This topical oil has antifungal, antibacterial, and antiviral properties. Nonetheless, it is not meant to be taken internally.
2--Aloe vera. Many people love aloe vera. The leaves from this plant minimize inflammation, regenerate, soothe, and moisturize.
3--Coconut oil. This oil is a medium-chain fatty acid. It helps prevent damage and acts like an antioxidant.
It is best to use the above shortly after a scar or mark has formed. Fortunately, I believe they will greatly help in the healing process.
