Eight-month-old Jayden Cambridge was brought into the Montreal Children's Hospital by his parents to remove the benign contenital tumor, or dermoid cyst, which had grown on his forehead. Unfortunately, Jayden's dark skin made him more prone to dramatic scarring, and traditional surgery would have left a significant scar that would grow as he aged. By opting to use endoscopic rather than traditional surgery, Drs. Sherif Emil and Nabil Fanous were able to successfully remove the tumor and leave only a small scar above Jayden's hair line.
