Be aware of the development of dark patches of skin on the face. If you notice irregularities in skin color on the nose, cheeks, lips, upper lip or forehead, monitor the progression of the darkening of skin in the particular area of change. The skin darkening is a gradual process, so what may appear to be a very light discoloration, may turn into dark patch of skin. As soon as you notice any changes in skin color, talk to your doctor about diagnosis and treatment.
